Arrived Safely
Had a delicious dinner (Chicken Schnitzel & Apple Pie)
A fun Games & Activities night, Watched a movie and relaxed before heading to bed for a big day tomorrow

An early start and a yummy breakfast. We started the day at the Royal Australian mint where we met Titan. We then ventured off to the national exhibit of Canberra, regatta point.
The Anzac parade tour was very interesting where we saw many statues honouring the men and women who served.
At Parliament House we reenacted the House of Representatives.

This afternoon we are off to visit the Australian institute of sport before dinner. And to finish off a big day- a quick dip and a splash at the aquatic centre.

After a rigorous day yesterday and an evening swim we quickly settled into bed last night. We woke up refreshed and excited for another day jam packed with activities. We were up with an early start and a 6.30 AM breakfast. We went to the Australian electoral commission where we learnt about our representative democracy and the voting process. Afterwards, we travelled to the CSIRO where we learnt many things including what Australian notes are made of and about the advancing technologies of our country. Every student is having a great time, bonding together and learning new things. The students are displaying all of the values and being respectful.

Last night we drove up to the top of Black Mountain after dinner and saw Canberra from 846 meters above ground level! It was really hot and we enjoyed a beautiful view of the sunset. When we got home we started preparing for our talent show which is happening tonight. This morning we enjoyed a little bit of sleep in before heading off to Questacon. Following Questacon we headed off to the National Art Gallery where we viewed some contemporary and traditional art. To finish off our day, we are at the Museum of Australian Democracy at Old Parliament House.

Stopping for lunch at Wangaratta Park- more than half way home :)
